Happy Birthday, AVGN!

A Happy Birthday to whom I consider the Godfather of Internet Game Critic: James Rolfe aka The Angry Video Game Nerd. He pioneered the way people play and criticize video games on the web through anger and sketch comedy. AVGN started in 2004, way before YouTube was even a thing. My first exposure to him was in 2009 when he reviewed the Virtual Boy and I was immediately hooked. At one point, I wanted to pursue filmmaking and game reviews just like him but that didn't happen.

I can honestly say without AVGN, there would be no Game Grumps, Jon Tron, Angry Joe, PewdiePie, Markiplier, and many others. His influence is impeccable as he changed game critique and game culture forever. Have a good one, Nerd.
