Müsnah - In The Basement of Despair

A kid opened the door. Pitch black. His dad asked him to grab the screwdriver down in the basement. The 10 year old said he's afraid of the dark. Dad told him to man up and off he went. Ceiling light wasn't working. He crept down to the staircase with a flashlight; slowly and steady.

He made it downstairs. Sweating profusely. Heart pulsing. Trembling in fear. The kid saw the shelf. Dashed quickly to pick up the screwdriver. One problem. The screwdriver wasn't there. Before he could think, battery died. Kid gasped. Only light coming from the entrance door. He made one step and then the door closed. Pitch black. Nervous breakdown.

Suddenly, one ceiling light turned on by itself. A figure with a creepy smile stood tall.

"Looking for something?"

Dead silent...
